Where should I start with baseball and softball fields?

We recommend starting with installing clay bricks in both the pitcher’s mound and home plate surround. Starting here allows elevations to be re-established and proper mapping to be performed. The clay bricks provide better footing for pitchers, catchers and batters and result in reduced maintenance in these high-stress areas.

Is our natural turf getting enough water?

Adequate water distribution is critical for a healthy turf. Water “cannons” (self-retracting sprinklers) sized to apply ample amounts of water are recommended. We can also work with your staff to explore, develop and deliver proper irrigation.

Do you use pesticides?

A well-maintained, healthy natural turf will be very resilient to disease, insect damage and fungus. The use of herbicides and pesticides is unpopular in most communities, but in cases where problems need to be addressed, we work with professionals in our network to provide effective solutions.
